As someone who wears locs..I have grown an attraction for Black women w/ natural hair...not to say that black women who don't wear natural hair are unattractive..but I know there are alot of Black women w/ natural hair who don't receive love from black men. SO I'm going to speak on my views of Black women and natural hair. I personally LOVE to see a woman rock a natural 'do..whether it's locs...braids..an afro, I have an affinity for seeing my sistas rock thier natural hair. The various looks. the various backgrounds. the various personalities..that all come w/ you rocking your natural hair is very sexy. If any of you are thinking about going natural..I would suggest it..because natural hair is much healthier, sexier and more personal and intimate. With that said, here are my views on the different styles of natural hair.
Locs
I have had locs now for a combined (my first set that I cut and these) 3 years and 6 months. Having locs has seriously contributed to my love of seeing Black women w/ locs. I love the style, culture and overall essence of seeing Black women in locs. Ive come across alot of different women, who all have grown locs for a variety of reasons..but the concrete foundation is still the same..it embraces thier natural God given beauty and sexiness. Black women with locs have a very earthly beauty with no additives or enhancements. I believe locs are a very serious commitment and any woman who is willing to go through the process of growing locs has to have patience, love of self, virtue and a sensitivity to life's twists and turns.
Afros
Ever since I can remember I have loved how free, liberal and powerful Black women look internally, with a big Afro on the outside. In the 70s they represented Black power and Black is Beautiful. In today's day and age...it still represents Black pride and beauty. Every one from Angela Davis to Jill Scott have made the Afro look incredibly sexy and intellectually stimulating. I think it takes a strong, powerful and confident woman to rock a big sexy 'fro. Rock on ladies.
Braids
Whether it's cornrows or fishbones. Braids represent a certain sassiness and down to earth vibe in a female. Black females in braids can be very sexy. I dig that they can be dressed up or let done to relax. I dig the versatility and change they represent. I love that every female with braids always a certain swankiness in her voice and style. To every female who rocks natural braids..keep doing ya thing. Much love.
